Job Description & Requirements
JOB SUMMARY:
​Responsible for performing installation and configuration of computing devices, including operating system, and patches/updates to the OS. Assist in the planning and implementation of all IT projects. Respond promptly and respectfully to end users and assist in meeting their technology needs. Consult with IT Director on problems and escalations as needed. Perform helpdesk duties in a professional manner. Perform installation and configuration of networking devices.​
QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field. (Experience and certifications may be substituted)

One-year of experience in a helpdesk environment

Two-years of experience with networking

Valid driver's license and auto insurance as required by law
SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Knowledge of various computer platforms that include Microsoft Windows, and Linux distributions

Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot PCs, peripheral devices, network devices, software applications, and operating systems

Have the ability to provide customer support in a professional manner

Have the skills and ability to communicate effectively to others

Knowledge and proficiency with office suite applications

Knowledge of TCP/IP

Able to provide after-hours (on-call) support as needed

Knowledge of Windows and Linux servers

Well-organized and able to work well with coworkers
