Computed radiography (CTs or CAT scans) enhances the overall capabilities of our Radiology Department. An RIS/PACS computer system provides the department the ability to perform all exams electronically and stores the image in a computer, allowing the image to be viewed by the medical staff anywhere a computer is accessible.

All radiology personnel employed by Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems are certified and registered technologists. Our Radiology Department provides more than 25,000 procedures annually for the local community.

Pemiscot Memorial also utilizes a telehealth radiology program through USA Radiology that brings 20 certified, remote radiologists to the community, allowing our patients to more quickly have their scans read in emergency or after-hours situations. Now, our team of expert radiologists can review scans in real time from wherever they are and consult with physicians to get you the treatment you deserve faster than ever.
