MEDICAID EXPANSION

When you have health insurance through MO HealthNet, you can get the care you need without worrying about going into debt. Health care doesn’t have to be a last resort with MO HealthNet. You can speak to a local expert at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital if you have questions or to apply every Wednesday from 9:00-4:30.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR
MO HEALTHNET?

More than 274,000 nondisabled adults ages 19 to 64 with income at or below 138% of the federal poverty level are eligible for coverage under MO HealthNet’s expanded Medicaid program. Individuals do not have to be uninsured to qualify for Medicaid expansion coverage.

Medicaid is secondary to any other health care coverage an individual has, so you may be eligible for additional benefits under MO HealthNet that may not be covered under your existing insurance.
