LABORATORY DIRECTOR

Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems is hiring a full-time Laboratory Director at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, MO. The Laboratory Director plans, coordinates, and administers policies and procedures relating to all phases of the Laboratory environment while complying with Federal Regulation of Clinical Laboratory Improvement Acts of 1988. The Laboratory Director is also responsible for the supervision of all Laboratory personnel and day to day testing.

Job Description & Requirements

Degree in a chemical physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science.
Two years laboratory experience and two years supervisory experience.
Classification: Moderate Complexity Laboratory Director & Technical Consultant, High Complexity Laboratory Technical Supervisor.
ASCP or AMT certification or equivalent if applicable.
An overall knowledge of hospital and health care personnel administration.
Knowledge of PMHS and governmental policies and standards. This includes working knowledge of each department.
Capable of communication with all persons within and outside the organization.
Ability to communicate and follow directions.
Practice confidentiality.
Excellent customer relation’s skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Possess organizational skills and flexibility.
Must adhere to policies and procedures.
