Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems is hiring a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). The LCSW will provide individuals, families, and groups with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses. Services include advising family care givers, providing patient education and counseling, and making referrals for other services. May also provide care and case management or interventions designed to promote health, prevent disease, and address barriers to access to healthcare.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Education: bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology or related field

  • Must be neat and clean in appearance.

  • Must be able to read and communicate, follow directions, and adhere to prescribed schedules and clerical procedures.

  • Possess initiative and exercise good judgment in performing job duties. 

  • Previous hospital or physician office experience preferred.
