Dr. William Steely, DPM, serves as Pemiscot Memorial’s Podiatry specialist and treats patients from all around the region. Steely practices primarily at Bootheel Primary Care Clinic – Caruthersville and Bootheel Primary Care Clinic – Kennett. Dr. Steely also performs surgery for necessary cases at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital.


Dr. Steely evaluates, diagnoses, and provides both medical and surgical care for patients of all ages with injuries or disorders of the foot and ankle including the soft tissue below the tibial tuberosity.

Dr. Abdul Naushad, M.D. diagnoses and treats pain of all kinds, from acute or chronic pain to pain associated with cancer.



Pemiscot Memorial’s Pain Management specialty is dedicated to the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide array of different types of pain. Pain is actually a wide spectrum of disorders including acute pain, chronic pain and cancer pain or some combination thereof. 


Our Pain Management specialist coordinates with other physicians and the state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Department to prevent and relieve pain.


Abdul Naushad, M.D. serves are the Pemiscot Memorial Pain Management specialist and practices at Pemiscot Primary Care Clinic in Hayti, MO. Dr. Naushad provides care through direct treatment, prescribing medication, prescribing rehabilitation services, performing pain relieving procedures, counseling patients and families, and coordinating care with other health care providers. 

Dr. Naushad's specialty care involves the following treatments and procedures:

Dr. Lara Huffman, M.D. serves as Pemiscot Memorial’s staff psychiatrist and sees patients at Resolutions, located conveniently inside Pemiscot Memorial Hospital. Dr. Huffman admits, evaluates, diagnoses, and carries out treatment for patients over 18 years of age. Through collaboration with mid-level practitioners and other physicians, Dr. Huffman and the Resolutions staff will design a treatment and therapy plan that is right for each unique patient. 


The Resolutions treatment team consists of credentialed, expert staff led by board-certified psychiatrists and psychiatric nurses, LPNs, licensed clinical therapists, psychologists, and activity therapists. 


Psychiatric treatments offered at Pemiscot Memorial include brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychotherapy combined with psychopharmacology, supportive therapy, treatment of psychosexual dysfunctions, and pharmacotherapy.
